The Thermal Stretcher replaces the flat iron, not the blow-dryer. A traditional silk press flattens hair between two plates heated to as much as 450°F. The Thermal Stretcher does the smoothing chemically instead. You still use heat, a blow-dryer at 150 to 250°F, but the plates never touch your hair. The result is a sleek, silk-pressed finish with real movement.
